Las Vegas Dave and Busters Gets Green Light in Summerlin

dave-busters-logoFor Las Vegas residents who have never been to a Dave and Busters, the request to bring the popular franchise to the area has been huge. Sadly, the next closest Dave and Busters is more than 240 miles away in Ontario, California. With a popular Facebook page titled “Bring Dave and Busters to Las Vegas”, patrons can rejoice with the announcement that the popular adult restaurant is finally coming.

Although there has been no specific street address mentioned, the new location will soon be up and running in Downtown Summerlin or very near to it. Locals who have been watching the Dave and Busters advertisements on TV for so long, may finally get to ‘Eat. Drink. Play.’ as D&B intended. The restaurant portion of the Dave and Buster chain serves your favorite American fare including sandwiches and steaks.

Dave and Busters has over 70 locations nationwide, and has recently started to post numerous job openings on their site for Las Vegas locations – locations that do not exist yet. Some of the postings call for bar backs and bartenders while others are looking for banquet chefs, cocktail servers and even game technicians.

Each Dave and Busters can bring in around $10 million dollars, with their casual American fare and full service sports bar an easy pair with the high-tech games and prizes.

For those interested in working at the new location, you will soon have your chance. Head to www.daveandbusters.com to check out the open positions in over 15 categories including “mix-master” and “senior games technician”.

There are some who are not as eager about the new addition, claiming that the location is not a ‘real sports bar’. What do you think? Will you visit the new Dave and Busters location on Sahara Avenue?
